You have to love Ozzie:
"Now we figure out how to win in this place, and now we can't come here no more."

Classic PK. After the game, flipped his cap off as he walked into the clubhouse and said, "We own this place.''

The last two years this dome curse has really gotten legs, but the 04-07 four year run, the Sox were actually 20-17 in the dome. 08 and 09 were total collapses at 3-15. Prior to that, the overall record was not great but nothing unusual for a road team vs a decent division rival.
Too bad these last two years it got so out of control.

I wouldn't exactly call it figuring out how to win. It was more along the lines of the broken clock being right twice a day. :(:

That was another horrendous stretch, but I do think it was more the twins being better those years...and prior to that the sox had some decent years up there...

Today's quote of the day goes to Steve Stone after Soriano's banana-peel act in LF:
"That's what you get when you have a DH playing left field."

Mine came from Paul Konerko, who appears to be studying Yogi Berra:
"It feels good to feel good".

My favorite "Stone-ism" came when Sore-Knee-ahno dropped AJ's pop fly in the 8th,allowing 2 unearned runs to cross the plate.
"What did he think, the runners were going to stop??":D:
