I'll be there in the RF bleachers for the only remaining game I have even the slightest interest in (unless Peavy comes back).

I'll be there in the RF bleachers for the only remaining game I have even the slightest interest in (unless Peavy comes back).

My deciding principles were:
1) Can I find a deal on tickets?
2) Does anyone I know have interest in going?

For possibly the first time in my life, #2 is the part I haven't been able to take care of.

A friend of mine has 2 tickets and she cannot unload them, even if she dips to face value.

I'd go if I were close to Chicago.

I mean, I've never been to a dual funeral before.

I got invited by a friend of mine who's a lifelong Cubs fan, so I'll be going as well. There should be no chirping by anyone at this game, as both teams are so awful. Frankly, we should all be commiserating in our misery and buying each other beers.

I'll be starting "Let's Go Bears" chants in section 34.

I'm in the same boat, can't go and have two that have lasted since it was rained out.

I was once at one of these games at Sox Park where the fans a couple of sections over were going at it until a guy showed up in a Green Bay Packers jersey, at which time the fans in that section united in a chant of Green Bay s.... - it was very funny.

I want the Sox to beat the Cubs as I always do, but I don't have a strong interest in the game. This game is just like any other at this point.

I was offered tickets at somewhat of a discount, but I'll be working when the game starts.

Turned down a free ticket, no interest.

I realize the team stinks, but how in the world can spending a day watching your "favorite" team play for free not interest you?

If I didn't live three hours away and have practice tomorrow, I'd go see the Sox if they were 0-161.

It funny as most of us a few months ago we exited that this make up game would be relevant to both teams, and now its meaningless to both.

go bears!

I won't be there. I'll be watching it with my Cub fan officemate with whom I have a bet on the overall head-to-head record of the Sox/Cubs this year. Lunch is on the line......

Maybe because it involves being around Cub fans.

They show up at The Cell. What's the difference if there's more of them?

Heck, there may not even be more of them there tomorrow.

What's the fun in coming to a Cubs/Sox game at Wrigley with both teams going nowhere this year, and not rubbing 2005 in their faces? Isn't that why the Sox won it?

Watching 2 bad teams play in a crappy stadium with overpriced concessions surrounded by some of the worst fans in sports. White Sox or not it does nothing for me.

I could never go to Wrigley Field. I just could never go to a Sox/Cubs game unless I was guaranteed before that the Sox would win.

Replace "exited" with "expected". That's what I did.

Not even for the pure experience of watching a baseball game featuring the Sox? Do you like watching baseball?
I know sox fans are supposed to hate all things wrigley, but I could enjoy watching the Sox play at the Kremlin if they win.
I just do not get this attitude that because it is in a certain place, a Sox game is no longer worth the time of day.
Just me. Go Sox!!

Unfortunately, both teams going nowhere is usually the circumstance these games are played.

Beer is cheaper than USCF.

There were tix available on the Cubs website yesterday. They must have been turned in because the game was sold out a month ago.

But it's old style! What a load of garbage. Perfect for a garbage team in a garbage stadium.

Same here, if I lived closer, I would go in a heartbeat to see them !!!!!

But living in Windsor, Ontario, Canada... it's a bit hard on a last minute decision :D:

I returned my bleacher tickets for full refund ($60.00 apiece) about a week after the scheduled game because I figured both teams would be out of contention by September. I probably could have made more money on StubHub.
