I am thinking of going to the game tonight. Haven't gone to Elvis Night in a few years, interested in seeing how it might have changed.

Weather.com says there will be showers tonight. But looking at the radar it seems to me that they won't get here until around midnight. I remember one year when Elvis night had high winds and thus they cancelled the traditional "Elvises of the Sky".

Eh, they've been wrong before, like 75% of the time.

HAHAHA Fantastic.

It has been looking like rain all day, but it hasn't actually it.

Radar showing rain straight west along I-88, looks like around I-39. Wonder how fast it's moving.

Why wouldn't it rain? I'm going tonight and I've had rain delays the past 2 games I've been to. Not to mention two cancellations. Just another trip out to the ballpark this year.

I can go to any of the games this series, but I want to go to this one because I think the pitching matchup is the most favorable to the Sox.

Don't tell me you still try to predict games by pitching matchups...

Yeah, good thing you didn't see the Contreras-Greinke contest....

raining in Downers Grove one hour before gametime. I notice that the weather quite often follows from the west burbs to the cell

If we have our big three going - Floyd, Danks, Burls - against the Os, how are any of the matchups unfavorable?

It's not perfect, but how are you going to predict with any greater accuracy?

I used to abstain entirely from Danny Wright starts and that prevented me from attending some horrible games.

I think the subsequent Orioles starters have slightly lower ERA's. None of them seem too impressive. But the Sox are good at making horrible pitchers look bad.

I am very happy I had lunch at a suspicious-looking Chinese restaurant, got sick, and was unable to attend this game.
