Gordon Beckham = Road Warrior

Sorry if this has been discussed already, but I was looking at his split stats (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/8422/splits;_ylt=AqObYbWq8BihTL1j5Qwt46eFCLcF)and was wondering if anyone has a clue why he hits .230 at home and .372 on the road. :dunno:

I thought the cell was supposed to be a great hitters park? Or is it The Outfield's "Your Love" that is distracting him?

I just find it amazing that he's hitting .727 in Cleveland. :o:

Beckham is attributed his poor batting average at home to "trying to to do much for the hometown fans." He also played his first seven games at home going 2 for 24.

The Sox as a team have not hit well at home this year.

Even when you take those at-bats out he's only hitting about .260 at home. Whatever, Beckham is the man.
