I, for one, am totally shocked to hear about this. Just before I read this, I read something else just as surprising. It seems that scientists have discovered that water is wet.

Complaining of a $14 million salary for hitting .285/.377/.843?

Oh wait, this is Gary Sheffield we are talking about.

It appears as if Gary is out there tanking it this year on purpose for the Mets so he can get sent somewhere else where they will give him a long term deal.

Oh - wait - maybe he just sucks without the Cream, the Clear and the rest of his crap...

Is that article correct? Sheffield leads the Mets with 10 HR's? :o:

I don't pay attention to the Mets but I didn't realize they were in that bad of offensive power.

Also, Sheff is a tool to complain about money, when the country is in terrible shape and people are out of jobs all the while he gets paid millions to play a kid's game.

Detroit's paying most of the 14 million. The Mets are on the hook for only 500 grand.

Their new park plays like the Grand Canyon. I think the architect was Johan Santana.
