Hoping somebody here can help me on this one!

I've been racking my brain and searching the internet for a song that was playing on the WXRT radio station after the 2005 World Series Win. I can't seem to find it anywhere. It was a recent rock ballad that was edited with audio clips from the 2005 season. I believe it started with opening day and ended with WS Game 4.

Does anyone remember this? The band or song name? Trying to find a copy of it. Thanks.

:gulp:

It was a Goo Goo Dolls song. I'm not sure of the name or where you can find it but I loved it at the time (and still do).

I love the song and would probably start balling my eyes out if I heard the remix in question.

You guys aren't alone. That XRT remix was incredible; I'd love to hear that again.

Amen to that. It's right up there with the Sox 2005 highlight video set to Switchfoot's We Are One that Comcast occasionally shows during rain delays.

I searched for that version of Better Days all over the internet a couple of years ago, but came up with nothing. If anyone has had better luck, I'd sure appreciate it!

I love the song and would probably start balling my eyes out if I heard the remix in question. You'd have to be incredibly flexible to ball your eyes out. And it would probably make you bawl if you did.

Never seen so a message board that criticizes spelling as much as this one.

Learn to spell or learn to roll with the punches. It's best if you don't take yourself to seriously around these parts.

I'm on a couple other forums which I wish had 10% of the grammar and spelling police that this one has. I can feel my brain cells dying each time I go there. A bunch of morons!

Yeah, proper grammar and writing are such a pain in the butt. It only helps you get ahead in life.

just because we can spell and construct grammatically correct sentences does not mean we are not morons. at least in my case

Every time I hear that song I think of the XRT remix. and how great the 2005 Sox were.
