Oh snap! The future folks, the future. Now that the WhiteSox are acting like a big-market team, which they most certainly should be, it's ova in the AL Central for the next decade!

How's Morel's glove?

How about Retherford?

Anthony Carter isn't really a prospect. Mitchell has a LOT of work to do; he currently has 23 Ks in 69 ABs.

Otherwise? I am impressed with how they are taking on payroll. Let's hope that extends to their drafts in the near future.

I remember them talking highly of Morel's glove after they drafted him last year. Buddy Bell really likes his defense. Retherford was voted the best defensive 2B in the Southern League by league managers. Flowers was also voted the best defensive catcher.

Isn't that the exact opposite of what we are hearing?

Maybe offensive production counts, just like the GG voting.

Saw the Barons game of 8/14.
Impressed by Retherford...nice defensive play & 2 doubles.
Viciedo hit the ball hard twice but no hits.
Brooks & Santeliz looked good...Santeliz hit 98 a few times.
Already have tickets to see Peavy next Tuesday.
