Hey. Been a long time since I've got to see a game. Wondering if I can get some help here- because you guys probably know this left and right.

Staying at a hotel at 125 W Ohio.

Looking to take the El to the game. That's the Blue Line to the Red Line? Or maybe there's a Red stop walking distance from me?

Two questions:

What's the best stop to get on the train?

About what time should I get onto the train to make it in time for a 7:11pm start? I don't need to be early. Getting there around 7 is fine.

Thanks in advance!

Walk to the Grand stop on the Red, just a few blocks away. Shouldn't take more than 20/25 minutes to get there.

Should not be more than 30 minutes. I love the Red Line, but it takes me an hour to get to the Cell. I'm pretty far down the Red Line.

I Googled Mapped this, and it agrees with me that it should not take more than half an hour. It says 19 minutes, to be exact (I factored in rush hour).

About 4 blocks to the Red Line stop at Grand and State.

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I remember that stop from college now.

Whodathunk when I got these tickets months ago that I'd be watching a 1st place team and a starting pitcher who just pitched a perfect game. Funny how that works!

Depending on how long you're in town, pick up a Visitors pass Jewel, Walgreens, CVS
1 day $5.75 unlimited rides for 24 hr period.
one-way on the EL costs $2.50 no transfers with cash.

Takes me usually 50-55 minutes from Howard, except when I'm lucky and take the purple line downtown and then transfer.
