I saw him do it, and I really didn't think there was anything out of line. After all, Joba threw behind Longoria's head and there is no reason the Rays should let the Yankees push them around. The ump didn't warn either team after either pitch. Garza said he did it because he is tired of pitchers throwing at Longoria. I don't remember Padilla getting fined for throwing at AJ twice a few years back. It is kinda lame that Garza gets a fine but not Joba. Oh well, I guess the Yankees can throw at people but not be thrown at.

The difference is Garza admitted it to the media, Joba did not.

Same thing happened to Bobby last year.

That's ****ing bull****. That is a part of the game, they shouldn't be fined for it. I covet Garza and he impressed me showing that he has the balls to throw at an opposing hitter.

It's a lost part of the game that should still be used.

It was. It was against Kinsler at home in May.
