It was a great game by TCQ last nite.
He is moving well and stinging the ball.

Imagine what a lift to the club if Q starts to explode at last years production levels.

Absolutely. This team will be scary with a full line-up ready to produce.

His swing looked better than I've ever seen it last night. If he gets hot, like he was at the beginning of this season even, we may just get the winning streak we need to put us into the lead again.

It couldn't have come at better time. We need to go on run and pull away in the division. I don't want to be 1 or 2 games up and have to play in the Metrodome in September.

It is rare for a player to put up MVP-caliber numbers every year. It is likely that we will never again see the magical Carlos Quentin of 2008.

He absolutely pissed on that home run yesterday. The lineout to left was crushed too. A guy like Quentin doesn't just forget how to hit. As much time as he's missed this is almost like a new spring training for him. I think he's ready to take off for sure.

Possible? Yes. Likely? No. A 30 HR, 100 RBI season from Quentin is not unrealistic at all going forward. Do you even like the White Sox?

I was watching the recap this morning and was thinking the same thing. He really seems to have found his stroke. He he also flipping the bat with more authority.

Hawk and Stoney mentioned last night that his timing is almost there, it looked there last night.

He aught to be improving with his timing. He practices his swing everywhere

It's not rare if the player is an MVP-caliber player. The only thing holding Quentin back is his health.

Are you really surprised? That is HF's calling card; in only 1 of maybe 100 posts is he remotely positive. I don't know how he does it while managing to remain sane.

I believe TCQ is getting out of his funk. For the first time since he's been back, I truly felt like I was watching '08 TCQ.

I think that is what separates the greats from the normals. Carlos Quentin might be a great or an average baseball player, so we will have to wait and see until we pass judgment like that.

If Quentin ever returns to last year's form, it won't be this season. However, I am excited with the way he's hit the ball these last few games.

You could take this the other way, if he doesn't start getting hits, he will explode from the pressure building inside him.

More like exploding from fouling off a 3-1 fastball in a game when he already has three hits.

There's a forum word for what HomeFish is...

But on topic, i hope he doesn't explode, might irritate the plantar fasciitis

He's about to explode because he ate Josh Hamilton last year. I guess Hamilton still needs to hit his groove this season as well. All of that must cause some indigestion.
