I never thought I'd see a no-hitter in person, but I was fortunate enough to attend the April 18, 2007 game against Texas. Unfortunately I didn't keep score that night.

I went to today's game and kept score. Probably the best game I've ever scored, and one I'll keep forever. Only the 18th time in MLB history one of these has been filled out.

Note my only mistake on the Sox side: I initially thought Wise had replaced Pods in the lineup. My hand was shaking as I filled it out, but after Wise's catch I realized Pods had moved over to LF for TCQ.

27 Up, 27 Down for the Rays:

That's pretty cool, Brian! When did you feel you were going to witness history?

Simply awesome. You are one lucky dude. Congrats man. Go to a nice store spend a couple dollars and get that and the ticket framed. I bet if you go to Sox Fest next year Buehrle would be willing to autograph the scorecard for you too. Or you could maybe call up your ticket rep/e-mail Brooks and see what he can do for you.

The third inning, no joke. I had a knot in my stomach early.

The third inning, no joke.
:o:

Was it a certain pitch or a certain sequence that led you to that feeling? That's just amazing!

Had you gone to Vegas on that, you might've been able to retire from work and live on a Buehrle-like income!

That is so awesome, Brian. I forwarded the picture to my mom, who keeps score at every single Sox game she goes to.

Thanks. The best part is looking at all the goose eggs across the bottom of the Rays side: Runs/Hits/Errors/LOB.

I just noticed I forgot to fill in the totals for the 9th inning.

That scorecard is a thing of beauty. I really like how the outs line up so flawlessly... :D:

I kept score at the game today also. A family asked to have their picture taken with it (I obliged.) On the ride home on Metra another guy took out his I-phone to get a picture.

(Hey I actually think I attached it!)

That is a super great keepsake. Maybe Mark will autograph it for you one day. That would be so special.
