What a pick off move he just made. He is going to have a real good argument for Cy Young if he keeps this up. Amazing. Too bad no other Sox pitchers even come close to as good as he is.....

If only we could get a run past Cy Asencio for Burly-mon, like I said in the Shoutbox this is the same pitcher who pitched 16 STRAIGHT Balls against us. What the Hell!!

Ahhh, I can hear it now, unless you're talking about Durham, in which case, I agree with you!

The sad part is, that sounds like a KW trade. lol Ankiel will be ever more screwed up after nardi gets a hold of him.

Rick Ankiel can be a good OFer in the major league! I will trade Royce for him so that Royce can retire with his first major league team... He deserves it...

If St. Louis were to do that deal, I would take it in a heartbeat. Even if Ankiel never pitches another game, he's a good enough hitter he might be able to move to the OF.

Honestly, that would be a steal for 2 mediocre players adding up to 10 million in unneeded salary.

BTW, Willie Harris is hitting .300 with an OBP around .350 at Charlotte, and opposed to Ray Durham, who has 11 errors at 2B so far, the inexperienced Harris has just 4 in 50 games at 2B and 4 in the OF.

Yeah, we'll go right into the crapper if we trade or lose Ray...

Yeah, after a talk with Nardi, Ankiel would probably let one sail into our own dugout. Of course the pitch would nail Buerhle, breaking his left arm & Ankiel would tear his labrum on the pitch.
