I need help ID'ing a player and this seems like a good place to ask.
Back in 2007 my family was visiting Yankee Stadium and happened to go on the night A-Rod was going for 500. The White Sox were in town and
before the game while we were in Monument Park, one of the White Sox in the outfield banged on the plexi-glass, pointed at our kids (ages 2-4 at the time) and threw 2 baseballs over the wall for them. It was quite cool and a memorable family event.

Anyway, next week as we head east for our annual trek to Saratoga NY we are stopping in Detroit to see the Tigers play. We are hoping to catch up with the player if he is still with the White Sox.

Here is the photo. I thank anyone in advance for helping us out on this.

One of, if not the most, infamous game(s) of Andy Gonzalez' time with the White Sox was his performance in Arlington in the summer of 2007.

He committed three throwing errors in one inning. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=270830113

I had the pleasure of making it out to Texas for that game.

Andy Gonzalez vs. Luis Terrero. Who was crappier? Discuss.

Andy Gonzalez vs. Luis Terrero. Who was crappier? Discuss.Andy Gonzalez, nothing to discuss.

Terrero, while nothing special, is marginally better than at least one player on the Sox current 25-man roster.

The Marlins picked him up??? Why?!?!?! Good thing he isn't on the Major League roster... talk about a waste of a roster spot!

I wish I could make $390k a year for being bad at baseball.

Now the secret is out on why Andy constantly airmailed Paulie. He could never resist the urge to throw balls into the crowd and make a fans day. What a great guy. :redneck

If he threw me a ball, I think I'd throw it back at him and try to bean him. I know, classy. :redneck
Boy, was he bad.
