WCSF Luncheon Wed. July 22

The Windy City Sox Fans will be sponsoring their first luncheon of the summer Wednesday, July 22 at The Polo Cafe, 3322 S. Morgan in Bridgeport.

We've invited Dave Wills to be our guest emcee, and he in turn has invited Rays manager Joe Maddon. No word yet on whether the Sox have contacted anyone for us, but invitations have been sent.

The donation is $35.00 for members, $45.00 for non-members, and $25.00 for kids under 10. All proceeds go to Chicago Baseball Cancer Charities and Children's Memorial Hospital.

Chicago native Jim Hickey subbed for Joe Madden. He gave a lot of insight into the job of a pitching coach. It was a good luncheon. Dave knows the right questions to ask.
