Half price...only $50 + $12 shipping. Their sweatshirts are very high quality - I have several and I love them. I just ordered this one.

Their stuff runs a bit loose. They fit nicely on bigger people without having the "sloppy" look that loose stuff sometimes has.

It's nice and all, but what makes it a "1940" hoodie? It's not the right colors, and it uses a wordmark that the Sox stopped using after 1938.

I know M&N does high quality stuff, but this one just seems a little...poorly researched, I guess.

I love this site... Where else can you get that kind of detailed info?

They released an entire line of 1940s Jerseys - one for each team. I'm sure they went +/- a few years here and there. And it is the style - they aren't replica or real jerseys - just hoodies.

That said, you are right - it would be more accurate to call this a 1938 Hoody. I don't think that was the point.

The hoodies are nice and I get where they are going with them. But what gets me is that teams that didn't come into existence until the 1960's (Astros, Padres, Mets, Brewers, Royals, & Angels) and teams that weren't in their current cities (A's & Giants) have 1940 styles.

Either way, they do look like nice hoodies. I like the other White Sox one, too bad it's $100.

uhhh yeah, that makes no sense. I was wondering the same thing. Whatever, I'd never buy those sweatshirts anyway. :D:

A very nice-looking hoodie, but I don't have much use for one of those for a while. :D:

eriqjaffe, that's amazing what you just did!

Do sweat shirts have sweat?

I'm guessing that has a hood and we can't see it.

A must-bookmark site for everyone:

"1930" would be more accurate, but its not perfect. Mitchell and Ness aren't the greatest when it comes to research, in all honesty. Lots of picky details (which I'd insist on for their prices) are ignored.

I got the first hoody already in the mail. It has a hood. I'm guessing the second one does also. (and for what it's worth, the sweatshirt appears to not have any sweat - so it seems like they got that one right as well.
