Kevin Mulvey has been called up by the Twins for long relief out of the pen. This will be his MLB debut. My first reaction when I found out he was part of the Santana deal was 'Dear God, not the Twins!'. Anyway he's family, so I hope no one grills me for kind of cheering for the guy even though he's pitching for the enemy, except of course when they're playing the Sox. My dream scenario would be that he comes in for mop up duty when the Twins starters get shelled. I wish him, not the Twins, success.

Tell him to throw our guys a few hanging curve balls.

In all seriousness, good luck to him. But not against us! :D:

Grats! That's cool to hear. I hope he does well. Who knows, there's always trade possibilities!

Long Relief means the twns are getting spanked most likely. I hope he pitches everyday!

In seriousness, Congrats

Congrats on having two cousins play for the Twins.

J/k, I know what you meant.

That's exciting news. I hope he does very, very well and either signs with the Sox in the future or winds up in NL so we won't have to worry about facing him.

Thanks to all! Just saw on the schedule that they're not going to be here until end of September, so got a while before he heads down here if he's still up by then.

Congrats on having two cousins play for the Twins.

Would that make them Twin Cousins??

That could only happen if they were born in Alabama. :redneck

Mod edit: When somebody screws up a quote by cutting out parts of the commands, please don't quote the screwed up quote, as it just makes thing further screwed up. I've fixed them, but sometimes it gets so messed up that I can't figure out how to fix it.

Good luck to your cousin, except for when he faces us. I then hope we light him up for 12 runs.

Wow, that has to be exciting for you and your family! Congrats, but I hope he doesn't come in in a key situation against the Sox.

Gee, I didn't KNOW that! :redneck

Hopefully he never pitches against the Sox so that you'll never have to deal with that conflict of interest!

I would rather think that the game is so out of line, so early they won't ever put him in vs the sox.
