AAA All-star game in 45 minutes on ESPN2? Carlos Torres and for some reason Cole Armstrong will be playing.

I feel you though. The only reason I'm not climbing the walls is because I have finals this week.

Maybe I'll do the AAA All Star game. :sigh:

All Star break back when I was a kid used to be earlier in the month. And it never failed, it would fall on my birthday week. The only good year was the year the all star game was on my birthday. Talk about mixed feelings!

By far the worst sports day of the year.

Why do they do a four day break for some teams? Never used to be like that before a a year or two ago, did it?

The weeks between Super Bowl and March Madness are long for me.

On the bright side, at least it isn't the offseason yet! That's far worse than this.

Our seven year old is in an All Star tournament this week, so we are still getting a baseball fix in our household. It is, literally, the kids can play.

This has been one of the most boring days of the year.

It usually is. It's the only day when there are no professional sporting games scheduled.

I actually look forward to this week. It's nice to take a break from baseball for a few days to avoid complete burn-out.

I'm watching the Triple-A All-Star Game and former Sox great Charlie Haeger just gave up an absolute bomb that landed in the street.

I'm going to pretend like that was in teal. This is by far the worst week of the year.

Hopefully that wasn't directed at me cause I don't appreciate being called "bat **** insane."

These four days are brutal if you are a Chicago sports nut like me. The closest thing today to Chicago sports action was the Bulls and Bucks in a summer league game. Thanks, but no thanks.

I didn't call you bat **** insane personally, but the idea of going crazy because baseball isn't being played for four days is pretty nuts.

It's not just baseball. Like someone said before, this is the only day all year where no pro sports are played.

I made sure my dvr was stocked up with stuff like Hamlet 2 (pretty funny), Death at a Funeral and two episodes of that new scy fy show Warehouse 13 couple that with Wednesday being the day our team plays in our roller hockey league (we won 6-1!) and I made it through ok. I did make a few trips back to the computer to get updated hockey tweets and to look at the upcoming hockey schedules released today. The only bad thing was I couldn't get to sleep because of a damned migraine that started at 11pm and lasted up until about 20 minutes ago .

In past years, the Schlubs have had a four day break and the Sox three days. It's only fair that the reverse is true.

You say that as if it's a bad thing? I was actually at the game. Got some great pictures and will try to get them posted later. Was a fun game even if the PCL lost.
