not sure what this means, but they are playing baseball 8 miles north of the Cell right now. If it doesn't rain harder, it should be played.

How many more games with Cleveland do we have at home? The Cubs had to try and get this one in, they don't see Atlanta again until 2010.

It'll be fine. Just check the radar.

Why, oh why is attendance down from last year? I'm completely baffled.

It seems like the only week that we had consistently warm, dry weather this season was that week when the mercury skyrocketed to 96!

It's unbelievable how many times we have had to have a "weather watch" thread this year.:(:

Look at the difference in the radar between the afternoon and evening. The Cubs didn't have to worry about being blocked by a storm cell, because the game is being played before the major stuff gets here.

If necessary, they COULD schedule a double header on the 8th of August.

Radar looks clear after Rockford. At least the one on the Tribune site looks clear.

System seems to be moving as much south as it is east. So long as that trend continues, things should be fine, but if it turns more easterly, the bad and wider portion of the storm will go right over the Cell and that could cause a delay or cancellation. I don't think that will happen, but it wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong.
