Good. Jimmy goes the way of the other duds like Miller and Betemit who shouldn't have been on the roster in the first place. Now if only Wise could follow that same path.

Another former KC reliever we had bites the dust.

Here's hoping that that happens soon when TCQ comes back...

Yeah, Thornton and Dotel have been useless this year.

I had thought all along that when TCQ came back, that Gobble would be DFA'd. Now, that this trade made him the odd-man-out, who is the future odd-man-out? Wise or Anderson? For some reason Ozzie really likes having that extra left-handed bat. Is BA next?

FTW:

According to Joe Cowley of the Sun-Times, Ozzie has already told both Wise and BA that one of them will be gone if (when) Quentin returns.

Oh you haven't watched a game this year. You should, not a bad team

Should be an interesting battle, let's hope both players make the most of this week before the break...

I'd say if Kenny made the decision, it would almost certainly be Wise, and that would be 99% of the fan's choice as well, including myself.

But if this is mostly Ozzie's decision don't be surprised if it may be Anderson, regardless of the defensive lift he could give our bench.

He's mentioned "good at-bats" as a reason to keep players all year, and we haven't seen much of those from BA lately.

Brian will most likely be a happy man the day he eventually leaves the White Sox. I can not imagine how anyone thinks it would be a good idea to keep Wise over Anderson.

While it would suck temporarily for BA. Getting sent to the minors would use up his last option, putting him in a better position to have to be on a roster next year. The White Sox are better off with him on the team. But, who knows what our manager thinks.
