Coincidentally, my cable box died yesterday, as I found out upon return from North Carolina.

What that has to do with Bartolo, I don't know, but I'm sure it could be linked, somehow.

Word from the Old Country Buffet manager is that he was found on the bathroom floor with 15 chicken wings scattered all over the floor, mashed potatoes all over his face, and mac and cheese all over his Knight jersey and was screaming for more food. The nice manager for the Old Country called Chris Chambliss, manager of the Knights, and politely asked if the team could come get him now as he has had some complaints from other Old Country Buffet costumers.

You got to talk to 30 different cousins, and then to his agent, who talks to his brother, his brother call his wife, his wife say he's with Pedro, Pedro say he's with Juan," said Guillen, having a little fun with the subject. Count me among those who feel the same. Colon is an experienced pitcher who can go 6-7 solid innings when healthy. I don't think it will inhibit Richard's development to come out of the pen this year.

I thought the Sox were shooting for a 7/24 return for one half of the DH That would be 10 days from tomorrow, allowing him to make one more rehab start or one with the big league team on the 19th. Like it or not, Richard is going to have to make at least one if not two more starts.

I didn't say anything against him, but since you bring it up, Clayton hasn't had a quality start since May.

In 12 starts, Clayton has pitched 6 or more innings 4 times (http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/players/player/gamelogs/2009/1103052). That just spells bullpen overuse and disaster.

And yes, since I'm going to the game next Tuesday I'd rather see Colon start than Clayton.
