Just been over to see the Dodgers & cubs homestand.....4-2...not too bad a visit this time! Had another great visit, but I wonder if anyone knows the title of the music that's played when the Sox montage is shown on the screen prior to the team coming onto the field to Thunderstruck. Pretty awesome build up especially during the cubs series.

You can find the song on the first Pirates soundtrack. I do not know the exact name of the song though.

I'm pretty sure the song is called "He's A Pirate."

There are actually two "songs" (is it a "song" if it's instrumental?) in the opening montage. The first is "Harrow's Way" and the second is "He's a Pirate". The 2nd one is from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

I thought Hans Zimmer was the composer of the Pirates OST?

Zimmer composed the score for the latter two movies, I believe.

According to the article, Zimmer couldn't take contractual effort for the score of the first film, but Badelt worked for Zimmer.

Actually the article is interesting because I always wondered why the "Battle" track from the Gladiator soundtrack was basically ripped off and redone over and over throughout the Pirates soundtrack.

It talks about how the Pirates films were just a collaboration of people that worked for the "overproducer" Zimmer.

Our middle school band played this right after the Sox won the World Series, pure coincidence and I'm the only one who knew that and I was in 8th grade and not even in Band.

I know this is a little off topic. But before the Saturday Cubs game Better Than Ezra performed and they were incredible as always..

A great band, I recommend checking them out if you're into rock.

Pirates of the Carribean theme and The Elk Hunt from Last of the Mohicans.

It is not The Elk Hunt, it's Harrow's Way for the first part of the montage.
