There's little question that Dave Littlefield made a boffo trade when he sent Todd Ritchie to the White Sox for Kip Wells, Josh Fogg and Sean Lowe. Wells and Fogg have proven to be top major league starters. "Fogg's going to pitch well for a long time,"says Littlefield. "Wells has been amazing. His last pitch (Wednesday) was his 109th of the game, and it was 97 miles an hour. He's regularly got 95 to 98. But I have to be honest. That's a lot better than the pitcher we traded for. We liked his arm, but we had no idea that he could get that much."

I remember the day after the trade,while i was ranting and raving against it,that Gammons was on baseball tonight saying what a good deal the White Sox had made.

ugh! either the gm really sux, or the pitching coach really sux. i tend to believe that they both suck... big time.

The pitching coach sucks. The GM only sucks because he doesn't get rid of him. Either that or it's the owner who won't get rid of him...
