Here's a decent compilation of all those Cubs/White Sox commercials (http://homerderby.com/archives/4665) they put on the air around now.

The best one is from Cork N' Carry at the end of the post (http://homerderby.com/archives/4665).
I hadn't seen it before.

Cork & Kerry. It's named for the Irish counties, it's not a to-go joint.

I took a picture of this in an old TV Guide that was at my mom's house. Thought I'd share. Look how young Chet looks.

The best one was the Pepsi spot that ran in 2003 or so.. a fan buys Sosa a Spanish dish at a stand and it's red hot (after he recognizes him and starts fauning over him.) Sosa desperately is looking for a Pepsi.

After he drinks one, the fan pulls out a Sox hat, puts it on his head and does the heart tapping signal to him and leaves.

I didn't watch it, so thanks for saving me the time!

I laughed at the Cork & Kerry one when I first saw it elsewhere, but also thought it a little embarrassing for its provincialism. I don't much mind Wrigleyville (or Lakeview); it's the team and fans infesting the neighborhood I don't like. But to each their own!

I always like the point-counterpoint ads. The one where the ad says "They Think They Are Cursed" and we respond with "We Agree".

Great videos!! Thanks for sharing......it's great for former Chicagoans who are now out-of-towners to see those local commercials!!

I love how in all four McDonalds spots, it's the White Sox fan screwing with the Cubs fan.

Yea, most of the commercials have had the White Sox fan or player getting the better of the Cubs fan or player.

Jim Frey and Tony LaRussa did a few good natured ribbing commercials back in the mid 1980s for the old "Crosstown Classic" games.
