Oh boy. Good thing Moronotti is gone or the piece about world title being tainted comes out tomorrow morning.

They can't do that. Sammy Sosa? Even if he wasn't caught, come on.

Pablo must be TERRIBLE if he was that mediocre while using PEDs.

Damn Pablo was one of my favorite players for the Sox during 05, 06 seasons

This reminds me of when Neifi Perez was suspended for violating the drug policy. Granted, he tested positive for amphetamines instead of steroids, but it was still funny. I guess he needed the energy boost to get his average above .150.

You almost wonder if at age 34, being in AAA he decided to try to get back to the big leagues the wrong way. The Chicago media will be all over this one though. The first 2005 White Sox player who tested positive for PEDs. Greg Couch and Mariotti would have been turning handsprings with this one if they still had Sun Times columnist gigs.

So PEDs is what makes him look like like Don Cheadle?

He was the only guy on the roster who did not play at all in the '05 World Series. Ozzie musta known something.....

It broke when he rounded First on his way to Second.

If I remember correctly weren't Pablo and Manny pretty close last year in LA?

Damn Pablo was one of my favorite players for the Sox during 05, 06 seasonsThis smacks of a guy who's just trying anything to hang on. I'm saying he was clean while with the Sox.

Well now 2005 is just ruined for me.

No wonder I got his game worn jersey so cheap.

Why? He was a bench guy who did not play at all in the World Series. It's not like AJ or Pods or one of the other regulars came up positive this year (which does not necessarily mean he was using in '05).

Sort of makes that .328 average in 2006 jump out now compared to his career stats! Also, why the heck does the article have him wearing a SOX cap when he has since played for both the Dodgers and Phillies?!

I agree. When he broke his leg he lost his speed which was his best assett. He chose the wrong way to try and recover that speed, which is really the only way he could hang onto his career.

I wonder if that's what the voiceover guy meant on the WS video by 'A dash of speed'.

Since he is with PHI, maybe JC Romero is the one responsible for introducing him to the stuff.

Cubs fans pay attention to baseball outside of Chicago?

I just had the same reaction as I did when I found out Scott Schoenweiss was mentioned in the Mitchell Report. Really?!
