Tomorrow, I will be attemtping my first tailgate ever at the Cell.(or anyplace alse for that matter). I'll be starting of modestly, with hot dogs.

Last year, I was there for Griffey's first Sox homer, and I'd like to be there for Bacon's first homer.

But why Bacon?

It's how Ozzie pronounces his name, therefore many of us have decided to embrace it as his full on nickname.

Next time he's in scoring position, we need to bring home the Bacon!

Oh, and since we're on the topic, you might want to try wrapping your hot dogs in bacon before putting them on the grill. You can use toothpicks to keep it on there, and put some grease on the grate so it doesn't stick.

That's a good sponsorship opportunity there if the Sox run with it.

Too bad Egypt slaughtered all their pigs because of the Swine scare.

A can of Pam will be in my griling kit.

A friend of mine makes the "heart-attack-on-a-bun". You wrap the hot dog in bacon and grill it. Then, you wrap that in ground beef and grill it. Add cheese, put on a bun, add condiments...and scarf!

Fist tailgate attempt? That sounds painful...and sick.

I didn't think Muslims ate pig. They must be food for the Christians.

When I first read the title, I thought it said FISK tailgate attempt. Immediately, I became a little disturbed picturing Carleton Fisk being BBQ'd.

The weathe rmay not cooperate with you, but you'll have fun. I typically use disposable grills, and they light up real fast and cook quick.

My last two tailgates I just made encased meats and tube steaks.

LOT A will let you in on a weekday game early. I think as early as 6 am. Not sure if you can crack open a cold one that early though on thie rlot.
