I am making the initial post of this weather thread here because of the direct impact it may have upon our doubleheader today. According to the National Weather Service, today's forecast calls for potentially "Scattered Strong Storms" with quarter size hail and wind gusts of 60 mph.

That sucks. I'm going to the first game.

Hopefully it stays away like it has the past few days, going to both today, weather permitting.

Me too. I was hoping the weather would be nice today.

I've been to about eight rainy or rained out games including this year and last September and I'm really sick of it.

I have tickets to the second game, so I'll be keeping an eye on the updates. I'd imagaine they have to get at least one of these in. Any chance they just find a window to play one?

I have tickets to the first game and more than likely that will be the one that will be cancelled again. I'm painting my condo and waiting around at the ballpark for three hours and then having them call the game is a big waste of time for me.

The weather is looking good for game 1. Let's hope it can stay dry for the night game. :gulp:

Don't be so sure. Shortly after the game 1 starts there might be a rain delay. Hopefully it goes south so I am wrong.

Edit: I think the storm will go south.

There wasn't a rain delay, but there was some rain that was coming down around the 2nd inning today. It was just the misty type. It felt so good!
