I am hoping the rain subsides by game time since this will be my first game this year.

If anyone knows anything about the likeliness of this being played out, please inform.

According to Ginger Zee at Channel 5, the game will get played tonight.

I'm hoping and praying that we play tonight. I'm going tonight and Wednesday. Will be my second of the year, but my first was the 20-1...

Forecast is for isolated T-storms. I have a feeling they'll get it in. They better, 'cause I used my April 27th rainout tickets for today.

Did anyone else get woken up by the storm? I hope tomorrow's game isn't rained, out, either. I've got tickets for that one.

I just hope they play to see a win streak longer than a series sweep. If we sweep this series, we'll surpass .500, we'll have a 7-game win streak, and get some momentum going into the 4 game set against Detroit, after the three game set against Cleveland. Even if we go 3-1, I'll just be looking for a good fight against both Cleveland and Detroit.

Everyone can blame me because I'm going tonight. Every ballgame I've gone to this year there has been rain in the forecast.

Well, today is my first post and my first game this year. I hope it doesn't rain because it's a 2+ hour drive for me.

Radar not looking to good and with the humidity we had today the storms may stay around for a bit. But still four hours till first pitch.

I think they'll play this one. Maybe a rain delay sprinkled in there. I'm heading out to the Cell at around 4:15. Hope we can get this one in.

We had a huge storm out here in the burbs, but it blew over quickly.

I work just east of the Cell and it was dark and pouring buckets about 20 minutes ago. Now, it's stopped and the sun is trying to come back out. It better.

My first game of the season against Seattle was washed out and I'm going again tonight. We have 90 people from work going and they better play the game!

Was raining here in Addison 15 minutes ago and dark; now it's partly cloudy with peeks of sunshine.

You're not the only one who woke up due to the storm last night. My god, that was LOUD at times! The storm flooded the area beneath my stairs. Fortunately the Sodfather is the best in the business, so nothing that shall come from now until game time should do any damage to the field.

They NEED to get this one in, as they already have a double-header in this homestand without a single day off!

Not to mention that this is a non-divisional opponent which means there are little opportunities to make this game up later in the year. They'll try to get it in, I just hope it isn't one of those games that ends at 1AM.:(:

Fortunately, the Sox and A's both have September 10th off, and that's the day right after the currently scheduled 2-game series here against the A's. If there is a rainout in this series, it would be very easy to reschedule. Unfortunately, more rain is predicted this week! So, you really have to get as many games in as you can on their scheduled days in case another game in the series needs to be rescheduled.

I think we are good for first pitch at least. All the early rain looks to be staying in Lake County.

I was so worried about last night's game, but I'm glad the rain held up until I got about halfway home (about a 2-hour drive south). My dad's going to tonight's game. Not looking good for him.

The heavy stuff will stay well south of here. They should get this one in.
