Considering whom he did this against, I am posting here the news that Albert Pujols just hit a massive home run to left at Busch Stadium that knocked out the "I" in Big Mac Land. Should be free Big Macs for everyone tonight at Busch.

John Rooney said it was still rising when it hit the "I." Dare we allude to a classic George Ofman Score moment and call it a "towering line drive"?

That can't be right. I watched the video of that moonshot and it was clearly coming down when it hit that "I."

Still a mighty impressive blast though.

That was very cool. I'd leave it out for the year - Pujols Pinball. When they all get hit and go off, McDonald's gives away Big Macs to everyone in attendance.

I thought Kermit and Brenly were joking when they pointed out that Pujols was "admiring" his HR. Do those two pay any attention to what their own guys do?

Please don't turn this into a flubbie bashing thread. I moved it out of WTS because it hasn't been one. What Pujols did is amazing and worthy of discussion without having to talk about the team they were playing at the time it happened.

If you absolutely HAVE to bash the flubbies, please take it to the proper forum.

Thanks in advance...

Well that player is why that section's sponsorship began, as far as I know.

I didn't see this until I checked the video on the Cardinals' official site...Wow! That was one amazing shot!

If Pujols keeps this up, people are going to say he looks like the next Mark McGuire.

 Yeah, I think he's at the point where people say someone could be the next Albert.

I think the title of this thread should have been "Pujols Puts An 'I' Out."

The best player in the game. It's not even close. Check baseball reference too. The numbers don't lie. **** A-froid.

On a similar note, you know how at the Cell they have the players picture on that long scoreboard that runs along the 300 level? I always thought it would be cool if the player hit a foul ball that hit the picture of himself in the eye.

That whole eye thing needs to go away. I don't like it at all.
