Hey, we'd be 2-0 the last 2 days if baseball was 1 inning.

What are we talking about here, by the way another loss for the Sox today, did anyone think we could beat Doc today?

Hawks said it the best with his deep, deep analytical analysis at the end of the game "they just played a bad bad ballgame"

Konerko's .318 average sticks out like a sore thumb in this lineup full of guys hitting. 240 or less.

The offense is an embarrassment. It doesn't matter whether the Sox face the other team's ace or an AAA callup or something in between. They are bad against everybody.

Oh, and another five-inning outing from a Sox starting pitcher. Not a single Sox starting pitcher has seen the sixth inning yet in this Toronto series. No wonder they've lost all three games.

21 runs in 9 games.

It's hurts less when you know what's gonna happen.

Two games in a row. He gets on base, scores to give us an early lead. He needs to do more in later at bats. But, at least he is doing something. He did reach on an error later in the game (could have been called an infield hit)

He is our lead off guy for now. At least , he has been scoring. haha! I like that he was aggresive and hit the first pitch of the game for a double.

Well. What can you say? I can tolerate poor play if they're filled with fight. These guys look defeated before the first inning.

It almost felt like the white flag was waved after Dye got thrown out at 3B in the first inning. (Poor choice by either Cora or Dye) I know I felt horrible despite the team leading 2-0 at that point because I knew we weren't going to score any more after that. We had to get Doc in that inning and we didn't. Pretty standard Sox stuff after that. Lots of stranded leadoff doubles, poor starting pitching from Floyd, etc. etc. Gavin has completely regressed into his 2007 self again. He has little command of his curveball, tipping his change up, and teams are teeing off on his fastball. We are completely outmatched by Toronto in every way. At least Jimmy Gobble pitched well.

Why is that tealed? Jimmy Gobble did pitch pretty well. Two innings, no hits, four strike outs, no walks... All against an offensively sound Blue Jays team.
Bit of a different Gobble than we saw with KC.
