And if there isn't improvement, he will be flying back to Chicago for treatment which would put him out until Tuesday at best. Sounds like a DL stint isn't out of the realm of possibilities either.

So we have to put up with more of Lillibridge? Oh God no. Please no.

...or they could move Pods into LF, and Anderson back into CF when he comes back, I suppose.

Lillibridge would still be on the roster if Quentin goes on the DL.

What a depressing thought that is.

Everything just seems to be turning into garbage at the same time...

Last thing you want is a lingering injury for TCQ. Last year, it was Konerko with the lingering injury(thumb wasn't it). It is a small injury but better to take care of it then let it linger and affect production.

BA should be back soon. Pods (LF), BA (CF), Dye (RF) wouldn't be bad considering the circumstances. Lillibridge isn't bad on the bench to pinch run or bunt! He can bunt. haha!

He wasn't that bad today. Hit by pitch. Good one..taking one for the team. Then, they knocked him down on a bunt attempt (Stone said it was a planned play...knock the hitter down and then catcher throws to first to try to catch the runner off first). But, Brent Lillibridge did get down a nice bunt later in that AB.

One more thing to be depressed about:(: Hopefully it's not too serious.
Oh, and the longer hair is a WAY better look for The Q:tongue:

Under appeal. Don't know how long that takes. Hopefully, it will be reduced to one day. However, we could have an OF like this for one day:

Pods (LF)
Lilli (CF / RF? ) - can he play RF or LF?
Anderson (RF/CF)

Beautiful , huh?

My question is what's it going to take for Kenny to do something. How many injuries and subpar replacements?

If he stands pat with this roster, it's just like 2007 all over again.

Our starting pitching might be worse than 2007. Bullpen is better, but having only 1-2 consistent starters is not good. And the last time around, we didn't even win those games. (Burls lost in Cle, Colon today).

But, its ok as long as you don't look at it emotionally.

It would be nice, for once, that we have our minor leagues produce a good outfielder who actually sticks...

The real question is why the heck was the Sun Times using a photo of Q when he was in Stanford? They don't have anything more recent?:?:

Quentin is back in Chicago for treatment, and they don't think he will miss significant time.

According to Farmer during the pre-game show, Quentin was walking around the clubhouse earlier "wearing a Herman Munster boot," but is not going on the DL.
