The sixth inning at Fenway tonight was historic as when Jason Bay hit a 3 run homer it meant Boston had recorded 12 runs before making an out which is a new AL record

I know. They talked about it for about 15 minutes on BBTN. Also, this was all in the game-segment, not the analysis in the studio afterwards. They literally went through and showed every Red Sox hit that inning. That's BS. Also, they covered Buehrle's near PERFECT GAME for about 45 seconds. If that was Beckett, Sabathia or Santana, you're hearing abou the whole game for fifteen minutes followed by some bonehead like John Kruk analyizing the reason a player's respected windup was so effective or something like that. Un****ingbelievable.

Near perfect/perfect into the 7th isn't really a story.

Near perfect/perfect into the 7th isn't really a story.

AP sent out an advisory after the top of the sixth, and another before the seventh was over. The fact is, Mark Buehrle didn't come close to pitching a perfect game, or even a no-hitter. He lost both with almost a third of the game remaining. He did pitch a great game, but he didn't even finish the shutout.

Nobody noticed when Brian Tallet recently took a no-hitter into the seventh inning against the Indians, either.

Glad to see the Tribe lose but hate the way ESPN covered it.

Every year the Tribe looks like an 8th grade Little League team before the All Star break and the 1927 Yankees after The Break. The Little League team digs a hole too deep for the '27 Yanks to dig out of completely.
