Anyone have any better info? Not looking that great. It's my second game of the year.

I went to a kids' day parade with my niece, and it rained that night and the parade went on. Hope you get it in.

It will be nice when we can stop having a weather watch every time there is a home game. Been a miserable spring so far when the Sox are home.

I've noticed that, too. The weather has been nice while the Sox have been on the road. The team comes home, and we get a constant threat of rain.

That's not really true - the Cubs have had some crap weather days, too, and they've been home when the Sox are on the road. I don't think they've been rained out completely yet, but there have been some dreary ones in there.

The Cubs don't get nearly the amount of sucky weather days as the Sox, though. It's still pretty gorgeous out there at this moment (I know there's still five hours til game time).

Not gonna compare Cubs weather vs. Sox weather, but this is at least the 3rd year in a row that I needed my winter coat in late April/early May. Don't expect it to be "shorts weather" until June.

Wow that system is really picking up strength as it gets close to the lake. T-storms popping up out of nowhere. If that continues, it will be rough, but if the first wave passes through, they might get it in with a rain delay after an hour or so.

Well, it can rain all it wants, as long as it's kept to the north side and northern suburbs.

I'm with the conspiracy theorists on this one.

Its not just that the weather is bad when the Sox are at home, it follows them on the road. Rain out in DET, two rain delayed games in BAL, and the rain-fest that was saturday in TEX. Plus all the rain issues we've had at home. And its only 26 games into the season.

I know its coincidence, but its hard to not notice.

They said a little after 8. I would say at 7:30 they will make another announcement that the game will start between 8:30 and 9:00. At 8:30, if its still raining or expected to rain a lot more, the game will be called and with this being a Buerhle start, almost the same amount of beer buying time will have been accomplished.

People may laugh but its absolutely true. Just ask anyone who has ever sat through a delay for a game that has never started and never will start. They are following the same script. They always start off with about an hour delay, if they say 9 o'clock at 7 pm most people will immediately leave. Then it gets stretched out a little more, then cancelled, then you're told your tickets are only for the rescheduled game which usually is a day game the next day. If you're not a Cub fan and actually work, there's a good chance you're screwed.

Any word on what to do with tickets these days? I'm not sure if I missed any announcements..
I was just thinking of this yesterday. I haven't heard anything about what to do with the tickets either, and they usually tell us sooner than this! I think that there being so few common days off for the teams might make this harder to re-schedule. We'd just like to know what to do with my ticket, because we shouldn't have to eat the ticket. They should make a decision already!

Thank you for your email. We are waiting for approval on the 5/6 rescheduled game date from the Players’ Association. Once we have the date set, we will notify all of our Registered Users, Season Ticket Holders, and 5/6 Group Leaders, as well as post information on our website. Please hang on to your tickets until the rescheduled date is set. Thank you and Go Sox!

Did anyone else hear Hawk say that a split doubleheader was set for June 8th?

OK, since the Sox are aggravating me all day today, does this mean I can only use my tickets from that night for this day game? Can't I exchange them.

I have no idea. I hope we're able to exchange them. They mentioned in the email to check whitesox.com for more information, but I still have yet to see any information posted on the website!
