The archive goes all the way back to 1945. Pick an issue and leaf through it page by page. There is some absolutely priceless content here, so make the time to check it out.

Thanks for the Link, what great memories scanning some of the issues. As a kid I never missed an issue of Baseball Digest and The Sporting News which was a strickly a baseball publication back in the day.

Baseball Digest was one of my favorite magazines as a kid. I still like to read it as an adult. Somewhere in my collection is a 1974 edition with Mets second baseman Felix Millan on the cover.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but I would like to thank PaleHoser for posting that link. Even though I am a huge baseball fan, I suprisingly never knew about Baseball Digest until I saw this thread. I looked through the archive, and I was very impressed! In fact, I was so impressed that I picked up a copy of the latest edition for myself the other day! I think I have a new favorite magazine now!:D:

Great article on Dick Allen in the July '72 issue. I never knew the Phillies almost traded him to the Cubs for either Williams or Santo.
