As of 4/24 there are 112 players already on the DL. That's almost 4 1/2 25 man rosters. It's a long season. Fortunately there are only 2 White Sox players.

And of those two, one is coming off the shelf shortly (Nix) and the other was not the type of things that a trainer could impact (Wise).

I counted 6 out of the supposed 112 players on the DL who played in the WBC, clearly a trend forming here.

There are also some players who played in Spring Training games there, too.

I blame the league forcing players to pose for all those meaningless team and individual photos.
