Some of the footage from the Cub game last night on the news? Not only was there a stray cat that the camera followed (for nearly 5 minutes according to Sportsrise) a guy in the same section AS Bartman reached out and caught a foul ball as Soriano was heading to the wall, almost identical to where Alou attempted to catch his....and on a deep Derrek Lee fly ball, several fans were reaching out over the basket in left center trying to catch it....

At least we know who the scapegoats will be this year when the Cubs blow it yet again.

I saw a picture in the paper and the caption said something like security gives stray cat to fans. I was thinking why the hell would they give it to the fans?

I'm sure Wrigley has many feral cats living in its bowels, feeding off the vermin that live there.

So the stray cat scratched 5 Cub fans? I fear for the health of said cat.

So every time a fan in that area catches a foul ball the papers will all be filled with Bartman and "curse" stories the next day? Sheesh, those cub fans are pathetic.

They do, I worked there. There was a family of cats living under the bleachers that I would visit before and after games. I called the big one "Bitey."

I saw the "bartman 2009" catch. The fans were cheering the guy as he caught it.

We should start " Cat Watch 2009" that's been 2 cats this year already.

Feral and local is probably right, not stray, judging by the way he reacted to people. Don't touch a feral cat folks, they're not acclimated to humans.
