According to WGN America's web site (http://www.wgnamerica.com/pages/sox_schedule), Saturday's game will be on WGN America.
:bandance:

But the Tribune web site says its on CSN (http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/).

If I hadn't read in another thread that they would be on WGN tomorrow night, I'd just have tuned in on XM, because I believed the Tribune's web site.

If the Tribune wonders why it is having financial trouble, perhaps it ought to look at its web site copy editing. Their poor copy editing obviously will keep Sox fans from watching their sister network.

Idiots.

I thought there was a difference between WGN America, the national station and WGN, the local Chicago station.

There is, but all Sox games are aired both nationally AND locally on WGN. There is never a time (unlike the Hawks) where a game is only shown on one outlet and not the other.

Just took a look at the pocket schedule and it's scheduled for WGN. Doesn't make much of a difference to me what channel the Sox are on as long as it's a station I get. August 15th may be a bit of a problem though. In Oakland, 3:05 CST first pitch with NO television coverage.

NHL and NBA rules limit the # of "national" broadcasts for Hawks and Bulls.

MLB still allows WGN to engage in superstation broadcasts of Sox and Cubs games.

TBS left the superstation racket because they were selling the braves and got the national game of the week package.
