Just got a triple in the bottom of the 6th against the O's. He's is unstoppable at the plate right now.

Wow. I just saw on baseball tonight that he needed a triple. How often does a guy get a triple last when he hits for the cycle? I'll try to look it up.

Orlando Hudson just did it yesterday or the day before, and his last hit was the triple.

Me too. I was watching all of his at-bats on Extra Innnings. My man crush on Chase Utley might have moved on to this guy.

The cycle is my favorite baseball accomplishment, and it happened twice this week! Oh, if only Paulie could have hit a triple Monday:rolleyes:

After he doesn't hit for the cycle in his next game, do you think the Rangers' would sell high low on Kinsler? Coop'll fix him!

This is the type of player I hope Beckham becomes for us. If he come close to Kinsler it will be huge for the Sox for years...

First off, props to a fellow Sun Devil! Way to go Ian!

I also read that he's the first player to hit for the cycle and go 6-6 since 1890!

I was shocked to hear that when O-dog did that, he became the first Dodger EVER to hit for the cycle in Dodger Stadium.

In his latest column, Jayson Stark wondered if any team had ever gone longer w/o a player hitting for the cycle in their own park? Turns out the answer is the Sox in old Comiskey Park. The first Sox player to hit for the cycle in Old Comiskey was Carlton Fisk on May 16, 1984, almost 74 years after the park opened.

He also talks about the Marlins striking out in the double digits and winning back-to-back games. Didn't the Sox K 10 times in consecutive games against Tampa Bay and win both? Or did I just imagine that?
