For those of you who didn't see, Jermaine Dye and Paul Konerko hit back to back homeruns to reach their 300th career homeruns :bandance::bandance::bandance:

I know the Sox are trying to not have to rely so much on homeruns to win ball games, but that was pretty cool. Hawk keeps insisting it has never happened before in the history of baseball.

Let's start working on 400!!

This is one of the reasons why baseball is so great. There is the possibility of seeing things that never happened before every day. Back to back 300 career HRs?.... yes!

Wow. I didn't realize they both had career HR totals approaching 300. Well done!

I hope this is the first time teammates have hit their 300th home runs back-to-back. I'm sure Baseball Tonight will confirm this.

I hope this is the first time teammates have hit their 300th home runs back-to-back. I'm sure Baseball Tonight will confirm this.

Its the first time two players have hit ANY century mark (300, 400, 500, etc.) in the same GAME.

A great thing, for sure. PK has hit all but a few of his with the White Sox. And JD has hit almost half of his with the Sox. It seems to mean more to the fans when that is the case.

Congratulations Paulie and JD on becoming members of the 300 home run club and doing it in a dramatic and unforgettable way.

Any bets on who will get to 400 first? I say JD.

And yet another reason why you should never throw back homerun balls. Imagine if some knucklehead would have thrown Dye's 300th ball back, then Paulie hits his 300th... it's never been done HR milesstones (History!) and you just threw it back.
Just think what Cooperstown would have paid for it.

Congrats to both of them. Wish it had happened at the Cell, but still it's an awesome dual milestone.

Was awesome to watch, i knew Paulie was on 299 and when they said JD was on 299 i thought how awesome it would be for them to hit 300 back to back and then when Paulie started fouling off some pitches it almost felt like destiny for them to do it. Congrats to them and for many more this season.

I'm sure Baseball Tonight will confirm this.

If they can squeeze it in between their 59 minutes of Red Sox and Yankee coverage, they might...

Really? I guess it is his fifth season here after all...

Yep, Dye has 140 HRs with the Sox, 300 in his career. He'll probably end this season with over 50% of his home runs being in a White Sox uniform.

One of the most underrated guys on our team the past five years, that Jermaine Dye.

Congrats to both, both are class acts and a big part of White Sox history.

After Dye hit his 299 last night, I texted every single White Sox fan in my phone saying that either today or Tuesday's game they will go back to back with homerun #300, and they did. Wow what a prediction :D:

I couldn't agree more. Dye has been one of the best free agent signings the Sox have ever pulled off. I was at the game last Saturday when Dye went crashing into the right field fence catching a deep fly. He can't run like he used to, but this guy puts out an effort every time. Then they showed the replay of catch on the scoreboard and he watched himself. He was great.

Paul Konerko has done a lot for this franchise. Last year was tough, but I am hoping he has a comeback season. If he does, the White Sox have a chance to take the divison this year.
