Anyone getting the game on CSN? It lists the game as "on" but I just get a black screen when tuning in.

Same here. Who's your provider? I'm on AT&T U-Verse here, I might have to call them in a minute if you are, too.

They probably ****ed up their satellites again, a la late September 2005.

Same - AT&T. Looks like Comcast has it going fine - that doesn't help me though :) Looking for a number to call now.

There's a U-Verse board I'm at http://utalk.att.com, and this doesn't really surprise me, because they seem to tend to **** up the blackout rules a lot at the beginning of the season (for lots of teams). If enough of us contact them (I'll get the number in a second) they should fix it.

Ok, other people tell me this has worked in this situation in the past: Call 1-800-288-2020. Once you're on the phone with tier 1/2, immediately tell them you need to open a ticket to be forwarded to the programming department to fix an incorrect blackout rule. Tier 1 and tier 2 agents are not trained on the blackout rules, and will frequently make something up that is completely incorrect. Politely explain that you need to open a ticket for the programming department since they are the ones who can verify blackout problems and correct them.

I'm gonna do it now, the more of us that do, the better.

Me too - this is a painful experience so far.

Well, after talking to the 2 least helpful people ever I got a ticket opened....we'll see if anything happens.

I was on the phone with the operator and she said they didn't know what the problem was... This is bull****. At&t can go **** themselves.

U-verse has been nothing but trouble

Here's a tip while these morons fix it...

You can watch the game on the picture in picture in the guide.

I'm pairing that up with the radio... This is pathetic

They told me it would be 5 HOURS before it is fixed...how exactly is that possible? Do they cut a cable when they black a game out? Did they run out of glue to put it back together?

At least you got a time - the guy told me he had no idea and that I could call them back "later tonight" if I wanted.

Keep in mind they generally have no idea what they're talking about unless you get pretty high up the chain.

I'm getting AT&T U-Verse installed tomorrow. This is bad news I think.

I havent had any problems outside of this. It was just surprising to see it blacked out, because its never happened before.

Only problem I had with service since I got it in early December

Nah, you'll be fine. In a year, we've had very few problems. They just tend to screw up at the very beginning of sports seasons.
