This means the last 2 spots in the Royals rotation are between Sidney Ponson, Brian Bannister, and Horacio Ramirez.

Yikes! Maybe the Royals won't be the surprise team after all.

Don't really understand this decision. Bannister and Hochevar could struggle to do worse than this pair arguably will.

Not like the royals are looking at the playoffs with this rotation.

How About That? (http://www.philly.com/dailynews/sports/20090403_Paul_Hagen__Compared_to_some_teams__Phill ies_have_a_wealth_of_starting_pitchers.html)

The Kansas City Royals 3-4-5 starters are expected to be Kyle Davies, Sidney Ponson and Horacio Ramirez. Over the last 3 years, among all pitchers with at least 200 innings pitched, each ranks among the 10 worst in ERA. -- Philadelphia Daily News

(apologies if this is too much ... but since Fox clipped it from the Philly News I thought it would be OK)
