That link (second to last paragraph) mentions he's day-to-day and that it isn't considered serious...

He limped off and was not carried off..........

Some spit and tissue paper should get him back on his feet.

Otherwise, paging Mr. Beckham. Paging Mr. Beckham....

Unfortunately, I think we'd have to watch Betemit and/or Lillibridge fail first.

Betemit CANNOT play Ss if his life depended on it.

How terrible would this be if it's serious or comes up later down the line.

Is KW going to trade for him?

I saw the cuts on his knee. I think they just took him out to attend to the cuts. I don't think it's anything structural.

ST incidents make me cringe ever since that Ventura slide......... Talk about ruining a season before it starts.

I actually read the article and saw that it was just cuts. Sigh of relief. Haha.

This is starting to look like the broken foot Buehrle experienced during ST in 2005. He broke his foot, it was going to be amputated and so on.

The next day, he was 100%.

At the same time, the other Chicago team said Mark Prior's shoulder was ok, just minor tightness, nothing to worry about. Then the truth came out.

That Prior was a puss that milked his injuries for all they were worth?

I missed his Peter Gammons tell-all interview about the steroid use.....

Followed by owning the all time record for simulated wins and strike outs!

Don't be so sure. After Lillibridge swings out of his shoes for a week or so, Betemit would probably get a shot. I never said it would be pretty, I said they would both fail.

Nix might be another option, but I have no idea of his work at SS. He's supposed to be a great second baseman.

With that incident came "The Prior Watch?"

Well that looks like a pretty regular lineup - must be a lefty on the mound. I'm hoping to see at least an average performance from Buehrle.

Still think Getz should lead off and Ramirez bat 2nd but I'll humor Ozzie for a bit.

Thanks for the great news. I'll be at the game again today, sitting in my season tix seats......... first row behind the Sox dugout. Alexei is the favorite player amongst the fans that sit near us. He's a great kid and is very nice to us fans.
