Royals have a good shot at .500 this year.

Quite honestly, if the Sox don't win the division I hope the Royals do.

Now the Sox look to be the worst team in the division by known talent so far. I still think Viciendo (yes, not Fields), and the rest of the Sox young players will prove everyone wrong... but, we'll see. :(:

A good reliever doesn't matter if you can't lead a game offensively. I wouldn't worry too much about this deal.

LOL...Juan Cruz what separated us from KC?

LOL...Juan Cruz what separated us from KC?No, not at all.... It's just, they have been trying at least. They have gotten players that have made them look better in the eyes of ESPN and all those people. The Sox have just gotten to the point of looking worse to them.

Are you being serious? Or are you just clowning around?

And what does have to do with what actually happens when the bell rings?
I trust Kenny over Steve Phillips.

I don't think that Ken Williams was necessarily smarter in staying away from Cruz. It could be that they just didn't want to spend that much on a reliever.

Or give up his first round pick.

Good move by the Royals. They have the potential to be a surprise team this year.

Amazing how the market has changed. Last off season the Sox gave Linebrink a 4 yr deal worth $19 mill and a 2 year deal to Dotel for $11.5 mill.

Cruz is a steal for the money he rec'd.

The Jesters will be a tougher team. They need a good hitter to round out that lineup to be a contender.
