That's too bad. Although I'd never wish the Cubs or the Indians any good luck, I still hate to see Wood go down so early in the season. He seems like an honest, hard-working pitcher that I can respect.

Wood does seem like a decent guy. If if I hated him, I would not wish ill on the man. It's just that Kerry Wood injuries are a rite of spring.

I've met him and he actually is one of the nicest guys I've met. I told him I was a Sox fan (this was back in 2004) and he said "Thank God I dont face them this year, that line up scares me."

He's a great human being. Met him a few times and my friend went to his bowling event last year. She said he was nothing but a gentleman to everyone.

Ye, I don't really harbor any resentment towards the Cubs players or organization, the only reason why I hate them so much if because of their fan base. For the most part, the Cubs have some good people playing for them, they aren't necessarily winners but they are good people.

While I don't want Wood to hurt the Sox, I do wish he recovers well and helps the Indians whenever they aren't playing the Sox. In White Sox situations he is what Cubs fans are to me.

I think Kerry is trying to get an early start on increasing his career numbers in simulated innings pitched.

Nice guy. Don't hate him. Hope he stays healthy.

That being said, since he plays for the tribe, I hope he falls flat on his face to a tune of about a 5.50 era with a 25% save percentage and gets sent to the minors.

I don't wish any ill towards him, but my reaction to this news was about the same as yesterday when I looked up and the sky was still blue.

That old hot tub injury acting up, I think.

He's supposed to be in the running for SD's fifth starter's spot.

I concur.

Been stuck here the last two weeks for business. Downtown blows and my office and hotel are in the middle of suburban chain-restaurant hell. Thank God I get to go home tomorrow.
