Impressive.

I wonder if Brandon Allen was close to making the list.

Good to see Viciedo so high, along with Poreda.

This list has way, way more credibility than the BA White Sox top 10 earlier this season, which was put together by none other than Phil Rogers.

Flowers still seems a bit low. I guess the questions of whether or not he can catch full time are holding him back.

Something interesting was the ETA for each player. All but Flowers have an ETA of 2009. Flowers has an ETA of 2010. It looks like we're on the right track minor league wise, we still have a long way to go to fix this system.

For all the crap the Sox scounting department gets, there are 8 current or former Sox farmhands on this list, with all but one (Flowers) beings signed by the Sox...Carter, Cunningham, Cortes, and Gio to go along with Beckham, Vicedo, and Poreda. Not bad.

BA thinks Beckham will see some time with the Sox in 2009? I know that could include anything, even a Sept. call-up, but :o:.
