A nice read, once again draw comparisons to Garland. Says Marquez is quicker on the mound though.

Something interesting I read:

Sox backup catcher Chris Stewart believes Marquez could develop into a Garland-style pitcher after catching him at Triple-A Trenton last year.

I don't know if Gonzalez was just saying he was a backup catcher candidate, or if that it's already been decided that Stewart will be the backup catcher come opening day.

I was under the impression that Miller had the edge at the backup catcher spt, but if Marquez wins the 5th spot, Stewart would make alot of sense, especially if he caught him last year.
