Does anyone ever win ticket lotteries?

Just an FYI I checked stubhub and you can get outfield seats for like $35.00 per tickets so not that bad in case you dont win the lotto.

115,000 people entered the Brewers opdy/marquee lottery. There were only about 3,000 standing room only tickets for OPDY and only a limited number of seats for the marquee games.

Basically the white sox/Brewers games are "sold out". You will be able to get tickets through stubhub and ebay but after ticket packages/seasons, the extra tickets season holder can buy (last week) and groups, there will be no tickets left for the ind. on-sale this saturday for ANY marquee games.

People in Milwaukee will find out very quick how well the Brewers did this off-season when they can't get tickets for any weekend games this saturday.

Does anyone know if you can walk the main level if you have upper deck tickets, or do they have similar restrictions like the Cell? I would like to walk around the park being my first time there.

I've never had any problem walking around the various areas of Miller Park. Most of the concourses put the field out of view though.

I called last Friday about group tickets and they still had groups of 25 available in the far UD corners for Saturday and Sunday. They had decent lower deck group seats available for Friday.

The weekend 20 game packages (includes 2 sox games) had great seats available in most sections some very reasonably priced. Not a bad option if you want to go through the hassle/risk of trying to sell the extras.

You may purchase these tickets on a first-come, first served basis beginning Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. CT until 11:59 p.m. CT, or while supplies last.

Okay, don't think I'll be hitting Pridefest, just not my cup of tea. Agree with getting recommendations from Tripadvisor as to hotel, although I think anything near Water St. or Third Ward would be find. Milwaukee isn't that big, so getting around shouldn't be a problem even if staying out near the airport or west. Decided to go back in and see what other games I might be interested in and keep somehow getting into a virtual waiting room from one of my prior efforts and can't seem to get out!

I was kind of hoping German Fest was going on when I looked up the festival schedule early this month.

I booked the Hilton for $82/night though Hotwire earlier this month too. And it's close to Water St. so my entertainment after the ballgame is complete.

Not walking distance. Cabs are plentiful and actually much easier to exit the parking lot, which are a complete disaster after the game. However, then you miss tailgating.

You can priceline the Hilton/Hyatt (3.5 stars) for around $50 including taxes and fees. Water Street is awesome, bootleggers is a good time. The Third Ward is also sweet with the Milwaukee Ale House as a place to stop for some solid beers.
