Contreras' work is never done
5/24...The Daily Herald, talks about Sox pitching coach Nardi Contreras and his work thus far.

Now, wait. Let's not rip Nardi's work ethic. He walks out to the mounds a lot during the game and I am sure he gives sage advice to the young pitchers. I can hear his conversation now:

Nardi: "Ummmm, yeah. Like, you probably should change up your pitches. Maybe mix it up more."

Pitcher: "You mean maybe more fastballs instead of breaking balls? Pitch inside as well as outside?"

Nardi: "Huh? No, I mean throw more strikes instead of balls. Don't want to be sent back to the minors do ya? OK, go get him kid and don't make Jerry come out here!!"
