It was good to hear some more about this guy...he has kinda gotten lost in the shuffle, (I will admit I hadn't really thought of him at 2b, I was thinking Getz and Lillibridge :redface:)

While I am upset about the no leadoff hitter situation...I am pretty excited to watch the 2nd base position battle

Thanks. Nix needs a great spring training to make this team. However, have to like his grinder mentality.

Last spring training, we thought Richar was going to be our starting 2B. Then, somehow...it was Uribe. hahaha!

Well, I like his attitude! I also loved Ozzie's comment of setting off fireworks after moving a guy over.

I'm not sure if attempting to bunt a ball thrown at one's head is "grindy" or "stupid."

Still, I wish him the best - nice little article.
