Chicagoland Sears stores have a contest to win a Skybox at Wrigley and at Comiskey for the Crosstown games. The last day of the contest is tomorrow, May 25.

I need your help? Heck, if we can get all the answers, then maybe one of the WSI regulars will win! That would be cool.

Answer:

I was at this game in 2000 at Comiskey. I believe the Sox won in the bottom of the 14th. This one probably is the longest in terms of time, too -- IIRC, I got home around 12:30am, so the game probably lasted about 4-1/2 to 5 hours.

Chicagosports.com seems to have taken most of their stories offline, however this is a cached version of their site in 2000, and it gives all the scores up 'til that point. I was right about the 14-inning game above, too.

I did use the Chicago Sports.com page that you referred to. Friday I went to Sears to enter this contest to win a skybox suite at either Wrigley or Comiskey during the Crosstown Classic. When I got there I saw that there were trivia questions. I wrote them all down and returned home to try to figure out the answers.

Today I went to Sears to drop off my entrys with the answers. Then I notice that on the lowest part of the contest box they had the answers printed! Anyway, I saw that I had one answer wrong.

This is what they had...

9. What was the Cubs-Sox series referred to as in 1995?
Answer: Twinbill
