Middle of February sometime.

I know for the last few seasons they have had both full and partial STH presale on the same day at the same time. Where did you hear that Feb. 9th is the date?

Picked up a pocket schedule last night, and single game
tickets go on sale February 13th.

I think all STH codes are tied to the actual STH. I don't think anyone would give out their number at the risk of losing their priviledges.

A question, as a first time partial STH: Does the presale still result in being charged all of the ticketmaster fees that are normally charged with single game purchases?

As far as I know you still have to pay the fees from the pre-sale, I have had a 27 game plan for the last 2 years and this has been the case for both of those just for the pre-sale.

It's Dankerific

Yes, you do. I wish they'd open at least ONE box office window for the season ticket holder presale so that we would have a means for bypassing that.

Lower Box prices are: $19 for Monday; $38 regular; $42 Prime, and $52 Premier.

I'm planning on picking up 6 Monday games, the Friday cub game ($52:angry:), and opening day.

Does anyone know what the 'extra' game is for the 27 game package (weekend package)? I hope it's one of the midweek Dodger games.

It's the second game of the season against Kansas City. Kinda stinks, but oh well, would have been nice if it was one of those games against the Dodgers.

I'm planning on picking up a few Monday games as well, and Opening Day in either the Club section or Lower Box hopefully.

Anyone get any emails from their reps regarding the presale on Monday?

Usually the cub games and Opening Day get sold pretty well but do not sell out, there are still some upper deck reserved seats left usually, and most times you can find better seats the day before or the day of the game that is taking place.

4 tix to each of the following:

Fri, Sat & Sun Cubs (all upper)
Opening day (upper)
Red Sox & Yanks Saturday games (lower)

I was online right away at 10:00, and I had great LL seats for the Sat Cubs game. However, I messed my CC info up and them entered virtual waiting room hell and got stuck with worse seats. Oh well.

Good evening,

Each year since my first son was born in November 2002, we have attended opening day at a different ballpark. This will be out seventh trip and after looking at the schedules we have chosen the White Sox for opening day in 2009. It will actually be the second time we've seen the White Sox on opening day, as we saw the Royals host the Sox on our first trip for opening day in 2003.

I see that there are different presales every day this week and naturally I'm afraid there won't be any tickets left for the general onsale Friday. If anyone would be so kind as to email me at chodaboy2k@email.com with any of the presale passwords and which day I can use them I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for helping me keep this tradition alive!

If you can use the SPC to get OD lowers and/or Cubs lowers, it more than makes up for the membership price. The opportunity to purchase premium lower box tickets at face just adds to it.

Well, yeah but that's in the pride section and those seats go fast when announced, and they're usually announced 1-2 months before the game. I do wonder if they're holding pride tickets for OD. I thought it was for all the other games, including Sox-Cubs.

This presale is a much better opportunity to find tickets in places you want, so I get my prime games now and use the pride club opportunity for my fill-in games.

Well, I got 3 of the 5 games I really wanted this morning from the whitesox.com presale. So, I'm pretty stoked about that! But, why is it that ticketmaster always wants to put me in the corner (108) when selecting lower reserved!?! Nobody puts my family in the corner!

Thats why I never pick "Best Available". I only bought one game ticket this year... "Halfway to St. Patricks Day". I'll buy the other tickets later...cause you never know how bad the Sox will be in September. And if they are like what BP says, a lot of seats may be available for the KC/Twins series.

IMO you'll get better seats closer to day of the game. Plus the service fee per ticket is $4.75.

Anyone have any experience with Dog Day tickets? They're available but the site says

Dog Day
Tickets purchased online will not be valid for canine or companion access to the designated Dog Day sections. Additionally, all dogs must be preregistered in order to enter U.S. Cellular Field. For more information, please contact Mary Weiss at MWeiss@chisox.com or by calling 312-674-5244.

What does that mean, that I can't just buy best available tickets?

If you're not bringing a dog you can buy "best available" tix online as usual. If you want to bring a dog, contact Mary Weiss and you will be seated in the dog section (somewhere in the bleachers)

When are tickets on sale at the Cell's box office? The $4.75 service charge per ticket is not worth buying online. I'm heading down to the Cell to save about $100 in fees.

Thanks, I contacted Mary and she said she'd send the necessary paperwork and ticket order form. Is there anything I can do other than fill it out and send it back as soon as I can? It's just first come, first served I assume...
